10L A dark, malty base malt. Can be steeped but best in mash. Dominant flavor of Doppelbocks.
2L Vienna provides more rich, malty flavor as a base malt than Pale Ale or Pilsner malt.
450-550L Malted and roasted similarly to Brown malt but at higher final temperatures. This malt provides a rich dark color and roasted, sharp, burnt or astringent flavors, and intense chocolate and coffee notes.
3 – 3.5L Excellent yield and easy to mash. Imparts classic “Nutty, Malty” English Pale Ale Flavor.
