Briess 120L Crystal Malt
25L Nut Flavor and Toasted Flavors without being sweet like Caramel malt. Excellent for Nut brown Ales.
2.4 – 4L Well modified base malt. Easy to mash, it has lower diastatic power than Pilsner or Pale Ale.
Add to mash for the classic “American Pilsner” flavor.
500 – 700L Not malted, but roasted slower and at a high temperature, then quenched with water. Lends a deep red to brown color and a sharp, bitter, dry, coffee flavor to Stouts and dark beers.
