It’s going to be Hoppin’ at The Hoppy Brewer this week! Grab a beer and come jam out to live music from some very talented musicians. You can also enjoy a nice cold pint in the great outdoors of our beer garden or drink inside our air-conditioned taproom. Gresham Mashers HBC Meeting | Wednesday, July 19th
Join the Gresham Mashers Homebrew Club monthly meeting to discuss homebrewing techniques, share beer recipes, and explore different hard cider or soda crafting methods. You’re welcome to bring a bottle of your homebrewed concoction and join the Gresham Masher Club meeting from 7 PM to 9 PM at The Hoppy Brewer in downtown Gresham.
Beer Tasting Event with Lagunitas | Thursday, July 20th
The Lagunitas Brewing Company was founded in 1993 in Lagunitas, California. They bottle everything from lagers to ales, stouts to IPAs, and more. Currently Lagunitas doesn’t have an Oregon location but don’t fret you can enjoy a pint of their brew at The Hoppy Brewer in Gresham. Check out Gordo performing live looping during our Lagunitas Beer Tasting Event from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
Live Music Featuring Gordo | Thursday, July 20th
Don’t miss a special performance by Jason “Gordo” Gordon, a “one man band” using a technique called live looping. Live looping involves recording each instrument part live on stage, he loops each part then adds the others by overdubbing one instrument at a time, essentially building each song from scratch. Catch a sneak peak of Gordo’s live looping in the video below and see him play live Thursday night in Downtown Gresham.
Live Music Featuring Bodacious | Saturday, July 22nd
If you’re looking for a fun night with great music come check out a mix of Blues, Jazz and Rock & Roll from Bodacious live this Saturday night. This musical group creates a groovy gumbo from their pantry of Blues, Rock & Roll, and Jazz, adding Ethnic Spice, with Zydeco-Cajun-Irish-German influences. Bodacious plays live at 7 pm and goes until 10 pm in downtown Gresham.
