Celebrating 10 Years In Gresham
Just at the end of last month, The Hoppy Brewer reached a milestone anniversary – our 10th anniversary here in Gresham! The Hoppy Brewer team is thrilled to have been able to serve Gresham for all these years, and we look forward to more years to come!
In recognition of the occasion, Pamplin Media Group interviewed The Hoppy Brewer’s owner Steve Krause. The past year has been hard on many Gresham businesses, and Krause acknowledged the support of the community. “We really appreciate the support through this past year.” After “having made it through COVID without closing — [The Hoppy Brewer’s 10th anniversary was] a chance to celebrate.”
When The Hoppy Brewer opened in downtown Gresham 10 years ago, it filled a hole in the community. Before, anyone in need of homebrew supplies would have to make the drive to Portland. After The Hoppy Brewer was established, though, “everything just fell into place,” according to Krause. “When we first moved in, downtown Gresham was a ghost town. But it built up 10 years ago and became something special.”
Although the 10th anniversary has now passed, The Hoppy Brewer team is still happy to see Gresham customers every day of the week. Gresham locals can count on The Hoppy Brewer to keep bringing delicious beers and more to Gresham!
