It has been a hot and muggy summer! Take a break from the heat and cool off with your favorite craft beer, hard cider, or wine while listening to some live music at The Hoppy Brewer. You can enjoy a refreshing pint in the great outdoors of our covered beer garden or stay inside our nice and cool air conditioned taproom. Relax with a pint of craft beer, hard cider or wine during any of our Hoppy Events listed below.

Beer Tasting Event with Ecliptic | Thursday, August 10th

John Harris, creator of Ecliptic Brewing, is an icon in Oregon’s craft brewing history. John Harris started brewing for McMenamins from 1986-1988, continued on to create recipes for Deschutes Brewery, and then spent 20 years running Full Sail Brewing’s brewmaster reserve program. Since 2013 he has continued his brewing career with Ecliptic Brewing. Join us in a Ecliptic Brewing beer tasting event after work this Thursday evening, from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.

Live Music Featuring JT Wise Band | Saturday, August 12th

The JT Wise Band plays a unique blend of rock, blues, and Americana with influences from Clapton, Robben Ford, Billy Gibbons, Vince Gill and more. The band will be performing original songs with acoustic guitars and electric bass. Check out the JT Wise Band performing live from 7 PM to 10 PM this Saturday night.

Live Music Featuring Jonathan Smith Trio | Sunday, August 13th

Check out the Jonathan Smith Trio as they play some of the best jazz guitar in the Portland area. The Jonathan Smith Trio is influenced by music from Joe Pass, Bruce Forman, Randy Johnston, Wes Montgomery, Dan Balmer and more! Listen to the Jonathan Smith Trio play live from 5 PM to 8 PM this Sunday evening at your favorite taproom, The Hoppy Brewer.
